I wanted to start this group in order to create an environment for women to meet and make friendships with other women who are childfree by choice. As my friends start having children, I find it becomes more and more difficult to spend time with them, as they are so busy with their families. When they are able to hang out, the topic of conversation inevitably turns to their children, which is just something that I cannot relate to.
